Towards the construction of public community care systems. An analysis of community care networks in four Gipuzcoan municipalities
Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic has had a direct and deep impact on health and care systems. As a consequence, the need for collaboration among the different stakeholders that provide welfare and care has become more relevant. The present study, based on the analysis of the community care networks that emerged during the lockdown in four municipalities of Gipuzkoa (Donostia/ San Sebastián, Tolosa, Oiartzun and Errenteria), aims to deepen on how to improve the public welfare and care systems towards a more communitarian system. For this purpose, semi-guided in-depth interviews and discussion groups were conducted with politicians, technicians and members of the communitu care networks of the four municipalities.Downloads
