Symbolic Public Policies of Governance and Democratic Quality in the Valencian Community

Abstract

Aproved the Law 19/2013 about transparency, access to public information and good governance, public sub-state administrations have had to implement a series of public policies to improve aspects such as the quality of democracy, fighting corruption and reliable information, among others. This paper explores and describes the first steps of Generalitat Valenciana for ensuring transparency and good governance in its territory. Especially, it focuses in the study of the Code of Good Governance. For its purpose, we are going to use a Neoinstitutionalist approach.
