Abstract

The young Spanish people is one of the groups most affected by the mismatch between the residential and labor markets, a situation that frustrates their desire to create their project of transition to adulthood, delaying their emancipation and their plans to create their own family. Unemployment and job insecurity suffered by this group reinforce the difficulties of living independently, creating unsatisfied housing needs

Aitana Alguacil Denche, Instituto Juan de Herrera -E.T.S.A.M
Es licenciada en Sociología por la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Postgraduada en Análisis de Datos y Sociología Aplicada por el CIS y máster en Sociología de la Población, el Territorio y las Migraciones en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Participó en la elaboración del VI Informe FOESSA: VI Informe sobre exclusión y desarrollo social en España 2008. Como colaboradora en el Equipo de Estudios de Cáritas Española y la Fundación FOESSA, ha participado en el estudio La vivienda en España en el siglo XXI, entre otros. Actualmente colabora con el Instituto Juan de Herrera (ETSAM) en estudios diagnósticos socioeconómicos y urbanísticos para la revisión de Planes Generales o realización de proyectos de rehabilitación y regeneración urbana. Entre sus publicaciones destacan: “Madrid en tiempos de crisis. Impacto sobre la realidad social” (2015); “La integración y la exclusión va por zonas. Aplicación de la propuesta de Robert Castel a la ciudad de Madrid” (2013); La vivienda en España en el siglo XXI. Diagnóstico del modelo residencial y propuestas para otra política de vivienda (2013); “Vivienda e inmigración: las condiciones y el comportamiento residencial de los inmigrantes en España” (2011); “Pobreza y exclusión, coordenadas de la crisis actual” (2010), entre otros.
