Ida y vuelta. El discurso de Euskal Herritarrok sobre la violencia en la tregua de Lizarra
Abstract
This article analyzes a specific period of the Basque history: ETA'S truce that continued to the signature of Lizarra's Agreement. In particular, it tries to study the Basque patriotic left's discourse regarding the violence in the above mentioned period. Though ETA did not change his discourse, its political branch did it. This way, along the process EH suffered an evolution, which led it to drifting apart from the violence exercised by ETA's surroundings, and a later regression that took it to his usual discourse previous to the truce, in which the violence was an unavoidable consequence, although not desirable, of the Basque conflict.Downloads
